These Regulations entered into force on the day of its original publication (3 March 1977).
Abstract

These Regulations, as regards the territory of Gibraltar, are providing the complete set of food hygiene-sanitary requirements to be respected at various stages of food preparation or processing, storage, transport and trade, and intended for all types of food and foodstuff for human consumption, also with the aim of public health and direct food safety standards implementation. Object of these rules is general food hygiene approach and standards for all types of food and foodstuff.
