Abstract The present Regulations are made under the Business Licence Act and under the Food Establishment Safety Regulations. Section 2 specifies that no licence may be issued under the Business Licence Act to any applicant for a business to be carried on in a food establishment unless the applicant produces a valid food establishment permit issued under the Food Establishment Safety Regulations.
