Abstract

These Regulations amend The Food (Colouring Substances) Regulations, 2006 as follows: (1) in regulation 5, by the substitution for paragraph (iv) of that regulation as follows: (iv) fish, molluscs, crustaceans and echinoderms. (2) in Schedule I, by the repeal of Table I and II and the substitution of the following: Table I specifying Synthetic dyes that are permitted to be used as colouring substances in food stuff. Table II specifies Other permitted Colouring substances to be used in food.
