These Regulations enter into force on 1 October 1994.
Abstract

These Regulations establish Bread Standards. They specify requirements and standards to be satisfied in order to prepare and put on the market any kind of bread in Sri Lanka. They provide for: white bread (including optional ingredients); Malt Products not exceeding 2% of the mass of the flour, water content and any other standard related to bread production.
