These Regulations enter into force on the expiry of a period of six months from the date on which these regulations are published in the Gazette.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of four Parts and three Schedules, provide for bottled or packaged natural mineral water and bottled or packaged drinking water. The Regulations specify the following provisions: no person shall bottle or packaged Natural Mineral Water or Drinking Water; or import and distribute bottled or packaged Natural Mineral Water or Drinking Water without obtaining a Certificate of Registration in that behalf from the Chief Food Authority.
