Regulation 2 provides that these Regulations shall apply to all fish and fish products which are sold or manufactured for sale in Zimbabwe and that no person shall sell, import for sale or manufacture for sale any fish or fish products other than in terms of these Regulations. Fish and fish products may be placed on the market with food additives and preservatives as permitted by the Food and Food Standards (Preservatives, Additives and Prohibited Substances) Regulations 1972 but shall be labelled accordingly.
