Abstract

This Regulation provides for the use of consented additives, vitamines, salt and other substances when preparing or conserving food, as also some technical procedures as ionizing or irradiated foods, the pasteurization and sterilization of milk, etc. Labelling must properly indicate the composition of food and their additives as per the Codex Alimentarius.
