Abstract This Act provides for the establishment of the Malaysian Food Analysts Council and defines its internal organization. Functions and powers of the Council include: to determine and regulate the professional conduct and ethics of food analysts; to determine the scale of fees to be charged by registered food analysts for services rendered; and to issue guidelines to specify the procedures and test methods of food analysis.
