Abstract

In order to create an enabling environment for raising plantations on all available lands and also for augmenting the pace of tree plantation on private land, the Ministry of Environment, Forest' and Climate Change issued Model Guidelines for Liberalizing Felling and Transit Regime for Tree Species grown on Non-forest/Private land on 18th November, 2014 requesting all States/UTs to take necessary action followed by various Advisories.
