Abstract

The Regulation implements provisions of the Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Act 1965 by prescribing conditions and requirements regarding the adding of fluoride to public water. Article 2 to 6 concern safety requirements regarding equipment and facilities. Articles 7 and 8 concern a Certificate of Competency to be granted by the Fluoridation Committee to persons authorized to add fluoride to water. Other provisions prohibit certain acts and regulate the method of adding fluoride to a water supply, testing and inspection (17 articles)
