Abstract

It shall not be lawful to carry on the trade of baker, breadmaker, paste maker or miller without a licence issued by the Superintendent of Public Health. The Sanitary Authority may perform inspections as per regulation 4. Further are set out the conditions under which flour may be marketed, particularly as regards the composition of flour and the additives that may be used. Regulations 11 and 12 concern the composition and properties of bread. Regulations 16 to 18 apply to paste. Regulation 19 regards the manufacture and selling of flour, bread and paste intended for diabetics or for particular dietary purposes.
