Abstract

The present Regulation enacts various sections of the Red River Floodway Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to compensation application procedures. The text – consisting of 11 sections – deals with the following aspects: definitions, time for submitting claim form, claimants’ duties, compensation for property damage, compensation for economic loss, compensation generally, claim processing and inspection of damaged property, payment of compensation and appeal to the Disaster Assistance Appeal Board.
