Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to a warning and alarm service in case of flooding. Article 2 establishes a Flooding Reporting Service in Brandeburg. Article 9 lists the following flooding levels: Level I - starting to overflow the river banks , Level II - flooding of green land or forestry areas, Level III - flooding of individual plots of land, streets or cellars, Level IV - flooding of great areas including streets and plants, danger for human beings, animals, objects and plants. The text consists of 11 articles.
