Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the relief of flood conditions. In particular, Section 1 establishes that the Lieutenant Governor in Council may enter into agreements with any public authority in British Columbia for relief and rehabilitation because of flood conditions or other circumstances attributable to them. The text consists of 7 sections as follows: Authority for flood control measures (1); Municipal powers (2); Boards for flood areas (3); Report and audit (4); Repealed (5); Power to direct payment (6); Power to make regulations (7).
