Abstract Regulation 3 specifies allowed ingredients in flavourings. These Regulations shall apply to flavourings in accordance with provisions of regulation 4. Regulation 5 specifies purity criteria. Regulation 6 places restrictions on the sale or import of food in which flavourings are used. Information relative to flavourings specified in regulations 7 (flavourings not intended for sale to final consumer) and 8 (flavourings intended for sale to final consumer) shall be compulsory indicated on packaging or containers. Regulation 9 lays down rules for the use of the word "natural".
