Abstract This Regulation concerns fishing activities in the international section of the Minho River. It consists of nine chapters regulating among other matters (a) permitted fishing gear; (b) open and closed seasons for each species; (c) the establishment of size of certain fish species which is unlawful to catch; (d) fishing in turn. The monitoring of the compliance with this Regulation and, in general, the policy of the river is entrusted to the appointed maritime authorities. Article 54 makes provision for the establishment of the Permanent International Commission for the Minho River whose main objectives shall be to consider and draft proposals for improving the biological and fishing conditions in the river. The Regulation is followed by one Annex concerning the "Description of the Gear that may be used in the International Stretch of the Minho River". Full text English
