Fisheries shall be carried out by natural and legal persons in fishing areas allocated by the fishing inspection. Fishery enterprises and organizations shall carry out drainage of waterbodies, comply with fishery legislation and not exceed allocated quotas. The following activities shall be prohibited: (a) acclimatization and release of alien species without permit issued by the competent authority; and (b) use prohibited fishing methods and prohibited fishing gear. Industrial and artisanal fishing vessels shall be subject to mandatory registration by the Government. Full text Russian/English
