Abstract These Regulations amend the Fisheries (South-East Area Commercial Fishing) Regulations 1986, by inserting a new regulation 3F, which provides that a commercial fisher who uses a set net in the area of East Otago taiapure must, at all times, remain in the immediate vicinity of the set net. Regulation 12 is consequentially amended. Regulation 4C(2)(d) which relates to the prohibition on trawling in certain seamount areas has been substituted.
