These Rules enter into force on 1 December 2009.
Abstract

These Rules, consisting of 50 sections divided into six Parts and completed by four Schedules, apply to all fishing in State waters. The Rules provide for areas where fishing may occur, matters relating to the characteristics of fish, closing and opening seasons of the fisheries, fishing gear, limits on taking and possessing fish, restrictions on the use of fishing vessels, restrictions on fishing in marine nature reserves, etc.
