These Regulations enter into force on 2 July 1991.
Abstract

These Regulations provide for the establishment of a Fisheries Research and Development Corporation in respect of the fisheries industry under section 28 of the Primary Industries and Energy research and Development Act, 1989. For the purposes of paragraph 28 (1)(d) of the Act, the fishing industry is a prescribed primary industry concerned with taking, culturing, processing, preserving, storing, transporting, marketing or selling fish or fish products. The Regulations prescribe levies attached to the Corporation.
