Registration numbers shall be displayed on the registered vessel. Any person who fails to register a fishing boat or to comply with sub-regulation (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred and twenty penalty units or to imprisonment not exceeding three months, or to both.
