This Act is divided up into 15 sections as follows: 1 Short title; 2 Purpose; 3 Interpretation; 4 Minister to prescribe regions; 5 Requirement for vote; 6 Definition of affirmative vote; 7 Consequences of affirmative vote; 8 Accreditation; 9 Annual dues; 10 Amount of annual dues; 11 Duration of accreditation; 12 Delegation of duties and functions; 13 Offence and penalty; 14 Regulations and 15 Proclamation. This Act prescribes for every licence holder in a region to pay annual dues to an organization accredited by the Minister to represent licence holders in that region. A "licence holder" means a person, other than a part-time fisher or a corporation, with an enterprise allocation, who holds a limited entry licence under the Fisheries Act (Canada) that permits the taking of fish.
