These Regulations govern the management of West Coast salmon fisheries in the EEZ. They concern, among other things, recordkeeping and reporting, relation to other laws, various prohibitions, exempted fishing, Treaty Indian fishing, gear and season restrictions, total allowable catch, inseason management actions that may be taken by NMFS, landing of and trade in salmon, Essential fish habitat (EFH) identifications and descriptions for Pacific salmon are identified for anadromous Pacific salmon stocks managed by the Pacific Fishery Management Council (PFMC) under the Pacific Coast Salmon Fishery Management Plan (FMP).
