Abstract

This Subpart of Part 679 of Title 50 of the Federal Code of Regulations formation and operation of fishery cooperatives and an inshore sector cooperative allocation program. The cooperative and its members are responsible for compliance with rules of this Subpart. An inshore catcher vessel cooperative that applies for and receives an American Fisheries Act inshore cooperative fishing permit under §679.4(l)(6) will receive a sub-allocation of the annual subarea inshore sector directed fishing allowance. The Regulations also provide with respect to catch weighing requirements for vessels and processors, harvesting sideboard limits in other fisheries and reporting requirements under the Chinook salmon EDR program.
