Abstract

This Subpart of Part 622 of the Code of Federal Regulations provides rules for commercial fishing for South Atlantic snapper-grouper in the EEZ in the South Atlantic. The Regulations set out requirements regarding recordkeeping and reporting, NMFS-approved observers on board of vessels, sea turtle conservation measures, closed areas, size limits, prohibited gear, etc. They also concern Annual catch limits (ACLs), annual catch targets (ACTs), and accountability measures (AMs) and adjustment of management measures by the Regional Administrator (RA).
