Abstract This notice is made under the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998. This notice applies to the customary food gathering area/rohe moana described in clause 4 of the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 4) 2012 (Gazette 2012, p 2737), which is an area from Haumi River to Taupiri Bay. The Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for a customary food gathering area/rohe moana may authorise any individual to take fish, aquatic life, or seaweed for customary food gathering purposes from within the area/rohe moana. This notice relates to a customary food gathering area/rohe moana of tangata whenua represented by Ngāti Kuta-Patukeha. The area/rohe moana is an area from Haumi River to Taupiri Bay. Notice is given of the appointment of Robert Clarke as an additional Tangata Tiaki/ Kaitiaki with effect from 27 February 2016. The Minister for Primary Industries made the appointment at the request of Te Hapū O Patukeha.
