Abstract This notice is made under the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999. The notice relates to a customary food gathering area/rohe moana of the tangata whenua represented by Te Rūnanga o Ōtākou. The area/rohe moana is from Heyward Point to Blackhead in Otago. Notice is given of the reappointment of a Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the area/rohe moana. The Minister for Primary Industries made the reappointment at the request of Te Rūnanga o Ōtākou. The powers of Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki are set out in the regulations.
