The Corporation shall: (a) engage in the business of distribution and marketing of fish and fish products and provide secure marketing outlets for fisheries in the Gambia, and in particular for traditional fisheries; (b) develop and regulate export markets for fish and fish products from the Gambia; (c) engage in commercial fishing operations; (d) engage in the processing of fish (sect. 4).
