These regulations enter into force on 15 January 2018.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 13 sections completed by one Schedule, implement the Fisheries Management Act 2007 by providing the rules for vessel monitoring system through an automatic location communicator. The registered owner of a registered boat must ensure that the boat is fitted with an approved VMS unit installed by an approved installer.
