Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 19 sections and completed by two Schedules, implement the Fisheries Management Act 2007 by providing for the management scheme for the Lakes and Coorong Fishery. The Lakes and Coorong Fishery consist of the taking of aquatic resources specified in Schedule 1 in the Lakes and Coorong; and the taking of Razorfish (Pinna bicolor) in the Lakes and Coorong for the purpose of bait. They regulate the licences and registration, the mesh net and yabby pot entitlements, and fix the pipi quota entitlements.
