Abstract

These Regulations implement the Fisheries Act 1982 by providing specifications on the establishment and operation of fishery management committees. Under section 13, a committee is responsible for the management of its fisheries and for this purpose, has the power to make recommendations and the responsibility of preparing the plans for the management of its fisheries. The attached schedule lists the fishery management committees of South Australia.
