Abstract: This Act provides with respect to the granting of loans owners of fishing boats. It shall be lawful for the Minister to make loans to bona fide fishermen and to the owners of commercial fishing boats in accordance with the Regulations made under this Act. All loans granted under this Act shall be a first lien or charge against the fishing boat, materials, engine and sail in respect of which the debt was incurred.
