Abstract These Regulations, consisting of 28 sections divided into four Parts and completed by six Schedules, implement the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 by providing specifications on several matters related to fisheries management. In particular, the Regulations cover the taking and possession of specific fish species including the minimum size permitted, Marine Plant Royalties and by prescribing fishing licence fees. Schedules specify the following matters: Licence fees; Fee under 1994 Abalone Deed of Agreement; Decisions and determinations; Notifiable decisions; Appealable determinations after review; Prescribed fish for definition of Aboriginal activity; and Offences.
