These Regulation shall come into effect on 22 March 1958.
Abstract

These Regulations provide for the procedures of application of fishing vessel owners for a loan for the purposes of repairing such vessel, or for purchasing material, gear or tackle for such vessel, or taking out or maintaining a marine insurance policy in respect of such fishing vessel, or purchasing an engine for or completing the construction of a fishing vessel, or for converting a fishing vessel propelled by sail into a fishing vessel propelled by engine. Furthermore, these Regulations lay down rules for the repayment of such loan in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to such loan; duties of owner of fishing vessel to whom loan has been made; and seizure and sale of vessel in certain events.
