The provisions of this Ordinance also concern surrender of fishing gear and other enforcement measures. British Indian Ocean Territory Government shall notify in certain circumstances the appropriate international regulatory bodies and national authorities that a vessel will be listed as an illegal fishi ng vessel, and sanctions applied against the vessel and owner.
