This Regulation enters into force on 1 September 2019.
Abstract

The Regulation, consisting of 153 sections divided into five Chapters and completed by eleven Schedules, establishes the Commercial Fisheries Regulation. Each fishery named and described in schedules 1 to 8 is a commercial fishery. Schedules 1 to 8 state the following for each commercial fishery: (a) fishery symbol; (b) fishing area; (c) matters about what is authorized under a fishing licence on which the fishery symbol is written (including fish that may be caught, methods and restrictions on fishing authorization); (d) if applicable, the permitted distance for an assistant fisher to be under direction of a commercial fisher for the fishery; (e) conditions about carrying out fishing activities applying to a licence on which the fishery symbol for the fishery is written; (f) fishing quota authority, conditions about carrying out fishing activities, etc.
