Regulation 12 prescribes general restrictions on the taking of fish. Regulation 14 is amended by redefining the size of selected marine fish species in order to qualify this species as protected fish. Regulation 14 prescribes that a person commits an offence if he or she takes, injures, sells, purchases or is in possession of any protected fish.
