Abstract This Circular, consisting of 7 sections and two Annexes, establishes the prohibition of selling and distributing of raw/fresh and processed Pufferfish (Tetraodontidae). Pursuant to Sec. 67 and 107 of RA 8550 and RA 7394, the Department of Agriculture (DA), through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) establishes be unlawful for any person, natural or juridical, to offer for sale or distribute Pufferfish as food in any state or form, whether raw/fresh or processed.
