Abstract

The present Act applies to all public and private waters. The purpose of the Act is to: a) conserve, improve or re-instore all local fish and fish species with their living space; b) protect endangered species; c) guarantee the sustainable use of fish stocks. The present Act consists of 44 articles divided into12 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Fishing authorization (II); Practice of fishing and protection of fish (III); Protection of living space (IV); Procurement of basic notions (V); Fishing Advisory Board (VI); Fisheries control (VII); Promotion of fisheries (VIII); Fishery damage (IX); Penalties and measures (X); Legal protection (XI); Final provisions (XII).
