Abstract

This Act provides rules relative to marine fisheries in territorial sea and the fisheries zone of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba and fishing by vessels of the Netherlands, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius or Saba at the high seas or in waters of another state. It consists of 22 articles divided into 8 Chapters: Definitions (I); General provisions (II); The Fisheries Commission (III); Fishing on the high seas or waters that fall under the jurisdiction of another state (IIIa); Duty of confidentiality (IV); Penal provisions (V); Scope of the National Ordinance (VI); Transitional and final provisions.
