These Regulations concern fish products processing- Part III regulates licensing; licensed activities are: any activity undertaken in relation to processing or packaging a ready-to-eat fish product, unless the product is, processed or packaged only for persons who are consumers; or sold, offered for sale or otherwise transferred, with respect to ownership, only to persons who are consumers. Any activity undertaken in relation to packaging a fish product, using modified atmosphere packaging or vacuum packaging, unless the product is, packaged only for persons who are consumers; or sold, offered for sale or otherwise transferred, with respect to ownership, only to persons who are consumers. The Part also establishes conditions of licence., transfer, etc. Part IV concerns fish processing plant and equipment; it clarifies the responsibility of operator, design and construction, drainage and sewage systems, hand washing stations, washroom facilities, cleaning and sanitizing, etc. Part V regulates water used at the plant; this include potable water, non-potable water, standards for water used, disinfection of water, reuse of water, etc. Part VI is operation of plants, and disciplines situations when other animals are present, maintenance, pest control, use of chemicals and other materials, sanitation program, Presence of other animals, Cleaning and sanitizing, etc. Part VII regulates return of fish products; Part VIII inedible materials ; Part IX personnel; Part X control and standards, such as processing standards, labelling and packaging, storage; Part XI receiving and shipping.
