Abstract

These Regulations provide for measures to protect the health of fish in Jersey. They provides rules for the placing on the market of aquaculture animals and aquaculture products, the transportation of aquaculture animals, the identification of aquaculture animals and aquaculture products and movement with the EU of aquaculture animals or aquaculture products. The Regulations furthermore, among other things, define powers of veterinary inspectors to control fish diseases, define offences and, in the Schedules, provide rules for hygiene in aquaculture establishments.
