Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister under section 10 of the Food and Drugs Ordinance, prescribe food safety standards and requirements for fish that is imported or placed on the market in Mauritius. Where any fish is certified by a Government Analyst to contravene these regulations the fish may be seized and destroyed as the Permanent Secretary may deem fit. The Regulations also concern labelling of fish.
