Abstract

This Chapter of Division 2 of the Fish and Game Code of California makes provision for miscellaneous matters concerning fish and game management. Fish and wildlife are the property of the people and provide a major contribution to the economy of the state, as well as providing a significant part of the people’s food supply; therefore their conservation is a proper responsibility of the state. The department shall not condition the issuance of an agreement on the receipt of another local, state, or federal permit.
