Abstract

This Chapter of Division 4 of the Fish and Game Code of California concerns the control on taking of deer and sale of deer products. It is unlawful to take any deer without first procuring a deer tag or permit authorizing the taking of that deer. In every area in which deer may lawfully be taken during the general open season there shall be an archery season for the taking of deer with bow and arrow.
