Abstract

This Chapter of Division 4 of the Fish and Game Code of California requires the Commission establish rules and regulations for the commercial take, sale, transport, export, or import of native reptiles. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no permit shall be issued for the operation of a farm for alligators or any species of the family crocodilidae if the animals are kept for the use and sale of the meat or hides. No permit for the operation of a farm for alligators or any species of the family crocodilidae shall be renewed if the animals are kept for the use and sale of the meat or hides.
