It shall also be unlawful to receive, bring, or cause to be brought into the State, for the purpose of propagation, any fish, reptile, amphibian, or aquatic plant from any place wherein any infected, diseased, or parasitized fish, reptile, amphibia, or aquatic plants are known to exist. No live aquatic plant or animal may be imported into the State without the prior written approval of the Department of Fish and Game pursuant to Regulations adopted by the Fish and Game Commission.
