The Act enters into force on 1 November 2006.
Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the prevention of fires. The text deals with the following matters: fire commissioner, emergency and disaster response, fire investigation and fire safety inspections, inquiries, responsbility for costs, adoption of the Manitoba Fire Code, local authorities and local assistance, insurers and adjusters, fire protection areas, general matters and offences and enforcement. The text consists of 51 sections.
