Application for registration shall be made to the Registrar (as defined by the Act). An appeal against decisions of the Registrar in terms of section 6 of the Act shall be submitted to the Minister: Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries. The Regulations specify skills that a pest control operator must possess and require the pest control operator to issue a treatment notice before applying any agricultural remedies and to take other precautionary measures when applying pesticides.
