Abstract

This Act, in respect of prescribed feeding stuffs and fertilizers: (a) defines civil and criminal liability of persons who place such items on the market; (b) provides for sampling and analysis of items placed on the market; (c) lays down rules relative to their ingredients, naming, marking and packing; (d) prescribes offences; and (e) defines regulation-making powers of the Minister. The Act requires persons who sell prescribed feeding stuffs and fertilizers to issue a statutory statement declaring prescribed particulars.
